In this lesson, we explore many specific considerations and strategies for promoting student safety.

Be knowledgeable in how to foster a safe, noncompetitive environment and to promote student safety.

Description

List the primary ways that teachers can help to prevent injury among students. Explain why it’s important to teach students HOW to listen to their body and provide five ways to do so. Explain important teachings around sensation and pain. Note the types of situations that may call for extra considerations and cautions and the type of attitude or approach that adds risk to yoga practice. Describe some ways to foster a safe, noncompetitive environment.
