Intention

  • Although this sequence was designed by an expert to “address rounded shoulders, collapsed chest and a forward head,” it includes challenging poses that are  not appropriate for students with significant upper back rounding or shoulder weakness.
  • We have offered some alternatives but this may be considered a sequence for only a certain segment of the population.
  • Still, though, you may find the opening sequence and the overall energetic arc of use to you in strategizing classes to address these areas.
