Description

Explain the primary caution related to breathing and the types of breathing practices that are best for pregnant students. Provide additional general safety cautions. Describe practice guidelines that account for hormonal changes that cause muscles, ligaments and tendons to relax. Provide a potential alternative for poses that are typically practiced on the belly and an alternative for supine poses. Provide additional safety suggestions for each trimester and name poses that are contraindicated during pregnancy.
