Be aware of the anatomical terminology and function of superficial, intermediate and deep back muscles, plus poses that strengthen and stretch them.

Description

Describe ways that back muscles may be categorized. Explain the relationship between the deep back muscles and core muscles. Name the superficial, intermediate and deep / intrinsic back muscles. Explore the actions of each and potential issues, plus asana or other movements that stretch and strengthen them.
