Since 2012, we’ve been delivering yoga teaching support of the highest quality. We offer teacher training curriculums and manual content in customizable formats that you can edit and brand as your own.
With our support, you can engage your trainees with an excellent curriculum and knowledgebase, saving you valuable energy and time to focus on:
Our training materials have been used by trainers across the globe. We have clients throughout the US from Alaska to Maine… across Canada from BC to Newfoundland… in Mexico, Costa Rica… South Africa, Australia and New Zealand… the United Arab Emirates, Greece, France, the UK and the Netherlands.
The materials aren’t “cookie cutter” and no two manuals using our material are likely to look the same.
The content is provided in written lessons that are perfect for manuals and for guiding lectures, plus there are assessments (quizzes with answer sheets) and lecture support.
Our library is always growing; at the time of this writing, there are 465 lessons to choose from, each with a succinct learning objective and description. The lesson descriptions also serve as compelling content for use in marketing to prospective students, and for applications to obtain funding, registrations and certifications.
Every subject has been placed within a precise structure of flexible, organized lesson bundles and curriculums. This gives trainers:
In summary, you get:
Our content has grown exponentially over the years. The complexity of administering so much content has also grown, so we’re always endeavoring to make it easier for our members. One major improvement over the years has been offering content bundles that save significant admin time in downloading and managing content on a subject area.
And occasionally we make significant content updates that we want to be sure our trainers have access to. In those cases, we send them the updated content free of charge, even after their membership has expired.
As you know, a good training is just the beginning. Continued study is a must. Our materials help trainees to be well-resourced. They can get up-to-speed efficiently (freeing you up to focus on your personal transmission and inspiring them with vital in-class coaching) while also gifting them with excellent material that they can consult for years to come as their interests and questions evolve over time.
Trainer membership includes access to a library of detailed and flexible curriculums that you can use to build virtually any type of yoga teacher training or immersion. Choose from the following (customizable) curriculum templates:
Choose an emphasis:
You may choose any of the above training curriculums (that you can then edit if desired). A curriculum is a Word doc that provides a high-level look at the learning modules and then provides a step-by-step progression of learning objectives followed by a concise description of every lesson within each module.
The curriculums are just the beginning. You also have complete flexibility to choose lessons and other training materials from a vast library.
The library is vast — more than any one school could ever use — and the content can be edited and custom branded.
You can choose components from a vast library that can be mixed and matched and integrated with other material as you wish. Everything may be edited and branded as desired and thus, no two training manuals using our materials will look the same.
You might use your credits to download lessons for a complete manual, or you can supplement or update what you already have. For example, you could update your 200 hour or 300 hour training manual plus download more pieces for assessments, or create a new 50 or 100-hour Pranayama Immersion.
See more detail below. Write us if you need anything or wish to schedule a call.
The training content is comprehensive, and organized with meticulous care. It can lend structure to your thinking, or prompt you to include something that you overlooked.
However, your in-class training need not be dictated by our material. The content can be used in any number of ways: it may be a valuable supplement to what you teach, providing background, contextual support, details or inspiration.
We consult dozens of expert sources on every topic, and scrutinize every single teaching. You see only that which meets high quality standards.
You can see the approach for yourself with an online Teacher Membership and by perusing the free samples of training content below.
With all topics, you’ll find that the content:
This organizational structure is not only a powerful way to approach topics, it gives you the flexibility to select content that best suits your needs for various trainings. For instance, how you present chakras will depend on the training (200RYT, 300RYT 500RYT, specialization, or a workshop) and on how much you wish to focus on the topic overall. For example, when choosing content for chakras, you can choose exactly what you need from these content pieces:
We have a number of flexible and customizable curriculums.
The Foundations Curriculum is an ultra-complete syllabus of knowledge standards that meets and exceeds the Yoga Alliance 200-hour core curriculum. It includes:
Here are a few snapshots from the Foundations Curriculum.
Here are a few snapshots from the Foundations and RYT200 Training Manual & Workbook. It’s a fully customizable template and has been successfully used by many trainers in their Yoga Alliance registration application.
Also included in the manual template is a customizable letter with guidance to trainees for developing a learning system for maximum retention and application.
The samples below come from the Teaching Methodology Intro & Overview where we “begin at the beginning.” The next lessons in the series offer in-depth teachings related to each of the topics introduced here.
The series of lessons on pose categories is vital for teachers to understand poses, and to sequence effectively. There is a lesson that provides an overview of all categories and families in general. And then each category is covered like these examples from Forward Bends:
In the following snapshot from the curriculum, you’ll see that the Forward Bending category lesson (sample above) may be accompanied by up to 14 more lessons on specific forward bending poses. For additional free samples of pose lessons, please see Free Samples: Asana Teaching Guides.
This lesson is an introduction to anatomy and physiology lessons, providing a grounded overview of how yoga impacts health and the various perspectives from which this powerful subject can be examined.
For advanced and specialized trainings, and for trainings geared toward yoga therapy, we have many “immersion bundles” like this one, which feature a series of related lessons on specialized subjects.
The samples provided here are in PDF format, but as a trainer, you can choose the customizable version for editing and branding.
