Intention

  • Mindfully prepare for peak poses of Natarajasana and Eka Pada Rajakapotasana using strap.
  • Open chest and shoulders to prepare upper body, and prepare hips for deep hip-opening backbends.
  • Bring balance to the anahata and vishuddha chakras, focusing on heart and front body opening in asymmetrical backbends.
  • Explore internally rotated postures and increase separation between the thigh bones.
  • Practice externally rotated postures to release outer hips.
